- SHAKE THE MARINADE TO INFUSE THE FLAVORS
- POUR IT OVER THE FOOD UNTIL COVERED
- SEAL THE CONTAINER AND REFRIGERATE FOR 30 MIN OR MORE
- REMOVE FROM CONATINER AND COOK USING YOUR PREFERRED METHOD
WHILE YOU ARE WAITING FOR THE MARINADE TO INFUSE YOU CAN COOK THE ADDITONS TO THE MEAL
Teriyaki Chicken Stir-Fry
Ingredients
- For the Chicken:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, sliced into thin strips
- 3fl oz Statesmen 30 Minute Marinade Teriyaki
- 1 tablespoon toasted Sesame oil (for cooking)
- For the Stir-Fry:
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (like bell peppers, broccoli, snap peas, and carrots)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated (optional)
- Cooked rice or noodles (for serving)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- Marinate the Chicken:
- In a bowl, combine the sliced chicken with the Statesmen 30 Minute Marinade Teriyaki.
- Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours in the fridge for enhanced flavor).
- Prepare the Stir-Fry:
- Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated chicken to the pan, cooking for about 5-7 minutes until it’s cooked through and lightly browned. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
- Cook the Vegetables:
- In the same skillet, add the mixed vegetables, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Combine:
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour any remaining marinade over the mixture and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing everything to heat through and the flavors to meld.
- Serve:
- Serve the stir-fry over cooked rice or noodles.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
